iBattz is known for quality made battery cases, available for almost every iPhone model. The biggest selling point of these cases is their price and charge efficiency, so they usually achieved noticeable success on the market. As it turns out, this company makes other products too and today you’ll get to learn more about the product called Mojo Vogue Battstation.
Mojo Vogue is the battery pack which brings a 5600mAh cell, and it’s compatible with every iPhone model. It comes with a very competitive price of $50, so I was very interested in seeing how this battery pack performs and if it’s worth the money.
On a first look I noticed how nicely designed this product is. This doesn’t come as a surprise since iBattz already made some of the most nicely designed battery cases, so it’s clear that this company knows how to offer eye-catching design. Mojo Vogue is a bit rounded and its dimensions, weight and shape are all telling that this is one truly portable battery pack. Its dimensions are: 4” long, 1.75” wide, and a little bit less than 1” tall. It weighs approximately 4.3 ounces, so you can see that you can easily carry it in your bag or even in your pocket. It’s also interesting to know that you’ll receive a carrying case and two Dock Connector tips which opens up its compatibility with older Apple devices. You can also get to choose from three colors: white, black, and red.
Aside from its modern design, there’s really nothing that unusual about Mojo Vogue on its exterior. On one end you’ll see that there’s an LED flashlight, which can be useful in some situations. There’s also a signal light, telling you how much power there’s left, and you can find this one on the top side. In case you’ve got an iOS device with the Lightning plug, you’ll need to supply your own cable. If you own an older iOS device, you’ll receive the standard micro-USB cable onto which you can attach included Dock Connector.
As I’ve said earlier, Mojo Vogue brings 5600mAh cell inside which means that you’ll be able to recharge the newest iPhone at least two full times. In case you’ve got an older iPhone, than you’ll benefit even more. The only drawback is that this unit outputs power at 1-Amp speeds, which may be enough for some iPhones, but waiting times are very long for iPads. I am not sure why iBattz decided not to include faster output solution, but I assume that this has something to do with its price which needed to be as low and affordable as possible.
It will be up to you to decide if you’d like to save some money by purchasing this affordable (but very quality made and capable) battery pack and wait a bit longer for your iOS device to be fully charged, or if you’re willing to spend from $80 and up on a solution which will do the job a lot faster. Still, Mojo Vague is a great product and earns my general recommendation.
